Edward Li is our newest member of the LHS School Council. Congratulations and welcome!
Edward Li Bio
I’m very interested in serving as a member of the LHS School Council. My wife Grace and I moved to Lexington in June 2007 when our only child Jonathan was about to start his kindergarten at Hastings. I have enjoyed living in Lexington since then and really appreciated the various opportunities of getting involved in the community affairs and volunteering at the elementary, middle and high school levels. I helped with the annual Talent Show at Hastings. My family helped host two exchange students from Lexington’s sister school in Jinhua, Zhejiang, China for one week. I had played a variety of roles such as parent chaperone and coordinator of summer camps in the cub scouts and boy scouts for 7 years in Lexington. Recently, I’m actively involved in a few major CAAL events including coordinating CAAL Annual Conference, attending the open forum with the new superintendent and acting as the member of CAAL for Cary Fundraising Committee. I have a MBA and Master’s Degree in Finance from Boston College. I’m a Chartered Financial Analyst. In addition to working full-time as finance manager in a global financial services company, I have taught college-level finance/accounting courses in both US and China. For the past 10 years, I have seen some challenges and concerns related to the Lexington Public School system that we as a community have to address. I’d like to get your support so I can use the LHS School Council as a forum to serve you, LHS and our community.
