PTO Forum: Success at LHS – The Role of the Counseling Department in the Social and Emotional Well-Being of Our Students

When: November 29th, 6:30-8:00 pm

Where: LHS, Science Lecture Hall

** Meet our New Assistant Director of Counseling

Is your student shy?  Perhaps they are not so comfortable asking for help?  Are they facing social issues or struggling with other aspects of student life?  Lexington High School continues to make emotional well-being of students a priority. With high level visioning, planning and interactions with students, the counseling department works daily to support and empower students. The goal is a successful journey for students at LHS. This important session will feature our new Asst. Director of Counseling, Stacy Glickman.  She will outline the work of the Counseling Department, go through grade level social and emotional targets and highlight how students learn to advocate for themselves in all types of situations. Please join us ‪on November 29th from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Independent Learning Center in the science building (formerly called Science Lecture Hall).

This is the first of our annual forums offered to the LHS parent and guardian community. We will be including many topics parents have asked for in our recent PTO Forum survey.  Please be on the lookout for future sessions on relevant topics.
